Life Line Screening is a new and innovative program that will help you take control of your health and well being. The services provided by Life Line Screening are designed for early detection of potential health problems leading to stroke, aortic aneurysms, peripheral arterial disease and osteoporosis in people over the age of 50. The true value of these screenings enables the League member the opportunity to detect life threatening medical conditions before becoming a medical emergency.
For more information or to schedule an appointment when a Life Line Screening team is in your neighborhood, call toll-free 1-800-324-4618 and give the operator code number: WWPE-001.

The League has Partnered with Marsh and Healthinsurance.com to offer a wide range of Health Insurance Plans available to uninsured or under insured League Members and their Families.
Preferred Provider Option
This option provides members a choice of providers from an established network of medical providers and facilities. Each health care provider has been thoroughly screened to ensure access, as well as a high standard of medical coverage for members and their families. The option provides a broad range of coverage for hospital room and board, physician and surgeon’s fees, lab services and much more.
Full Indemnity (Traditional)
Indemnity coverage allows the member “freedom of choice” when selecting a family physician and healthcare provider. This plan offers several deductibles and out-of-pocket limits to provide lower premiums and the ability to best meet the unique needs of the member and their families.
Health Savings Accounts (HSA’s)
The Health Insurance Mart offers Health Savings Accounts or HSA's. HSA's can combine a tax-free account to pay for medical expenses with a high-deductible health plan. The annual deductible must be at least $1,000 for individuals or $2,000 for families and the plan must have an out-of-pocket spending cap that doesn't exceed $5,000 for individuals and $10,000 for families.
The tax-free accounts combine characteristics of individual retirement accounts, 529 plans and 401(k)'s and allow members to save pretax money to use for qualified medical expenses upon withdrawal. Members can contribute pretax money up to $2,600 a year for an individual or $5,150 for a family, or the amount of the health plan deductible, whichever is lower. This option is ideal for those younger, healthier members who are unlikely to have large medical expenses and can let the savings accumulate.
Limited Benefit Medical Plans
Limited Medical Benefit Plans are designed to provide an insurance alternative to the soaring cost of many major medical plans. These plans address the key issues in healthcare today—prescription drugs, preventive care, access to in-patient healthcare and dependent coverage. This cost effective approach can be a perfect solution for your members and member companies. These plans have no deductibles or pre-existing conditions exclusions and are guarantee issue in most cases.
Available benefits include the following:
Hospital Indemnity Benefit
Intensive Care
Substance Abuse
Mental Health
Skilled Nursing Facility
Surgical Benefits (available in most plan designs)
Anesthesia Benefit
Outpatient Sickness/Doctor Visits
Preventive Care Indemnity Benefit
Emergency Room
RX Benefits
Short-Term Medical
Short-Term Medical plans provide individual and family coverage from 30 days up to six months. These plans are major medical plans designed to protect you and your family in the event of an illness or injury, and are typically less expensive than traditional individual medical plans.
A Short-Term Medical plan is ideal for members who are in need of immediate coverage while they shop for more permanent coverage.

Medicare and helps prevent you from having to spend down your assets, a
prerequisite for Medicaid assistance. More importantly, it helps protect
your freedom to choose a nursing home facility or home health care provider.
