The Postal Service has decided to suspend Postmasters convention leave effective May 31, 2009 for the remainder of FY 2009 and FY 2010. The League has been and continues to press the Postal Service to reconsider its decision. To implement such a policy mid stream of the convention season is clearly unfair to the many Postmasters having already received approval for usage of the convention leave.
